Chiropractic care is safe throughout your entire pregnancy.
Pregnancy is such an exciting time and we love caring for expecting moms. Pregnancy is also really hard work! We see moms-to-be for a variety of reasons—some have increased pain in areas like their neck, lower back, upper back, the pelvis, and pubic symphysis. Many mothers experience numbness and tingling, or pain in the hands. They can have heartburn, headaches, and many more health challenges during the pregnancy. The great news is that our staff and doctors have exceptional training to help you overcome these challenges. Chiropractic care is also a safe drugfree way to provide relief and improve the health of your body, and of course, a healthier mom is essential for the health of your growing baby!
Did you know that moms who were under chiropractic care had shorter active labor and delivery times compared to those without chiropractic care!!!
Is your baby in a breech position? Our doctors are trained in the Webster Technique, a special chiropractic analysis and treatment that is very gentle. Chiropractors can correct imbalances in the pelvis and surrounding ligaments, which creates the best opportunity for the baby to turn to the appropriate position for delivery. Utilizing this technique throughout your pregnancy is one of the best ways to help prevent a breech presentation as well.
How early in your pregnancy should you see a chiropractor? Chiropractic care is safe throughout your entire pregnancy. We can modify our technique to accommodate mommas from the first days of pregnancy to the last days of pregnancy. You will be amazed at how much better you will feel, and how much more enjoyable your pregnancy will be with chiropractic care included!

Did you know that not all iron is created equal? Most prenatals have iron added to them, with good reason. A common side effect of iron vitamins is constipation. We carry a prenatal vitamin with a special non-constipating iron. Be sure to ask your care provider about this as an option, and remember to drink PLENTY of water!
