Our office is busy we've been in practice for over 18 years, we delight in helping a large number of people feel their best, this job would require someone who is capable of interfacing with patients in person, on the phone, via text messaging, and email. Good communication skills and a high level of comfort interacting with people is a must for our next hire!

The Chiropractic Assistant is responsible for many things including the transactions of each patient encounter, an individual who is good with understanding numbers and ledgers, insurance allowed amounts, and deductible will succeed in training much faster than someone who is new to these concepts.

Our system relating to patient care requires our staff members to learn about multiple different appointment types based upon treatment styles, examinations, education for the patient, exercises for the patients, or the amount of time a patient would need with the doctor.  There will be different paperwork requirements for different appointments, there will be a schedule running for 3 doctors simultaneously.  The system does require staff members who are organized and capable of learning new information easily.  

It is our intention to learn the names of our patients, to greet them as they walk through the door, to take interest in their lives, and offer leadership and support in their chiropractic care.  If you are outgoing and caring, good with names and faces, these traits will assist in your success becoming a Chiropractic Assistant in our office.

Another important role in the leadership our Chiropractic Assistants fill is to go over the financial responsibilities for our patients accepting care.  Our next hire should be comfortable communicating about money with patients relating to the cost of care, they must hold value in the services we offer and be capable of communicating that value to our current and potential patients. 

Chiropractic care is a vital part of healthy living, our staff members understand the benefits of caring for your spine and nervous system over their lifetime, communicating this importance to other people and our patients is a necessity of employment, we are happy to educate someone who is unfamiliar with chiropractic care, at the end of the day though, all of our staff members are excited about chiropractic care and the potential difference it can make in the lives of our patients. 

We are hiring at $19.23/hour which is about $40,000 per year.  This job position is 4 days per week, Monday-Thursday and will include 10 hour days, or roughly 40 hours per week. We offer 8 days of vacation (which is 2 weeks of paid vacation with a 4 day workweek).  We have paid holidays including Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's and often some extra days added to the major holidays paid as well. 

Healthcare includes the following combination: Big Tree with unlimited in person or virtual appointments and a number of free prescriptions (included in your employment at no charge to the employee).  For vision and dental we utilize GBS (included in your employment at no charge to the employee).  Access to Sedera to cover unexpected hospital or urgent/emergent situations (this is a the cost of the employee, no employer payment toward Sedera, waiting period for pre-existing conditions does apply). 

Additional benefits include free chiropractic care for our employees, and discounted rates for nutritional supplements only available through healthcare professionals.
